Job summary

RSS Technology Solutions is seeking a Regional Field Technician to join our Field Services Team. You will deliver on-site technical support, equipment installations, and customer training across the Charlotte, NC region and beyond.

As the face of RSS in the field, you will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, manage installations, document service activity, and travel as needed to ensure customer systems run smoothly.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in IT or equivalent experience is required.
• 2-5 years of hands-on IT field support experience.
• A+ or similar technical certifications preferred.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and troubleshooting.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site technical support to restore customer equipment functionality.
• Perform installations and conversions for technology products nationwide.
• Train customers on new equipment for proper use.
• Maintain vehicle inventory and ensure tools are in good working order.
• Complete service orders with notes, inventories, and customer sign-offs.
• Travel as needed and participate in on-call rotations.
• Represent RSS Technology Solutions with professionalism and courtesy.
• Analyze and resolve technical issues using best practices.
