Qualifications

Summary: The Workforce Group, a LEMOINE company, is seeking qualified Regional Field Operations Supervisors to lead field teams conducting in-person community welfare and location verification services for a federal human services program serving vulnerable populations, including young adults, and families. This supervisory role implements a risk-tiered field deployment model, conducts same-day documentation review before case closure, manages escalations, and ensures all field activity is conducted safely and in compliance with program standards and participant rights.

Location: Operation hub-based; location subject to change based on project needs.

Travel: Frequent travel required (75–90%), including same-day, regional, and overnight travel. Candidates must reside within reasonable proximity to a major airport.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervise a regional team of Field Operations Specialists conducting in-person community visits.
  • Conduct same-day review of case documentation, confirming observations are factually grounded, welfare indicators documented, required data fields complete, and escalation triggers applied correctly.
  • Ensure all participant communications are conducted in the participants' primary language via bilingual staff or professional interpretation.
  • Immediately elevate welfare concerns, safety incidents, or reportable risks, with verbal notification for health or safety emergencies.
  • Enforce Standards of Conduct.
  • Report employee adverse information, conduct violations, or removal-from-duty situations to program leadership immediately.
  • For adult participants oversee the verbal consent process and ensure residential visit priority and workplace contact boundaries are followed.
  • Complete visit documentation, reports, and data entry in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Identify and elevate safety concerns or reportable risks in accordance with established procedures.
  • Maintain and enforce professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards at all times.
  • Protect and enforce the protection of sensitive participant, program, and government information.
  • Enforce all field safety, travel, communication, and situational awareness protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records, including calendars, travel logs, mileage, communication logs, and case notes.
  • Participate in required training sessions, operational briefings, and team meetings.
  • Must be able to travel domestically on short notice and on a frequent basis via air and/or ground transportation, including overnight travel when required.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods on various surfaces.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum three years of experience in field operations in related areas such as human services, social work, child welfare, community outreach, case management, investigations, residential/community visits, or similar work is required. A minimum of one year supervisory or team lead experience managing field personnel is required. Associate or bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, criminal justice, psychology, sociology, public administration, emergency management, or a related field is strongly preferred. Experience conducting residential visits, field-based assessments, or community outreach activities is strongly preferred.

  • Ability to travel frequently on short notice, including evenings, weekends, and overnight assignments.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to meet company travel and motor vehicle requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in fast-paced field environments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare accurate, objective, and timely documentation and reports.
  • Proficiency using smartphones, tablets, GPS/routing tools, Microsoft Office, and electronic documentation systems.
  • Strong problem‑solving, and situational awareness skills.
  • Ability to carry required equipment and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to complete required federal, client, and company training prior to assignment.
  • Ability to pass and maintain a government security background investigation, including a favorable credit check.
  • Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, and background check after accepting a conditional offer.
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
  • Training or experience in trauma‑informed care, de‑escalation, crisis response, mandated reporting, safety planning, or similar practices is strongly preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States. U.S. Citizenship is required for this position due to significant PII/SPII and Government case‑data access.

This position primarily operates in field with frequent travel to assigned residential and community‑settings across urban, suburban, and rural areas. Work may involve exposure to unpredictable environments and situations requiring heightened situational awareness, professional judgment, and adherence to field safety procedures. Work schedule may vary based on operational needs and authorized field visit windows. Evening, weekends, holidays, extended‑hour, short‑notice, and overnight travel assignments may be required.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of all pre‑employment screening requirements, including background checks, drug screening, motor vehicle records review, reference checks and other job‑related screening requirements. Employment is also contingent upon successful completion of required federal background/suitability review, favorable credit check, security processing, and program‑specific onboarding before beginning work.
