Job summary

Walmart is seeking a dynamic Licensed Manager, Facilities Maintenance Operations to oversee preventive and predictive maintenance across multiple facilities. You will lead a team of technicians, ensuring safe, efficient operations and a comfortable environment for associates and customers in a regional footprint.

The role requires 50%+ travel, collaboration with store managers and leadership, and active management of licenses, permits, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field and 3 years’ experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or related area OR 5 years’ experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or related area.
• EPA 608 Certification within 90 days of hire.
• Mechanical Contractor License or equivalent in the state you will be working.

Responsibilities

• Oversee predictive and preventive maintenance of Walmart facilities within a regional area.
• Lead a team of technicians, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
• Travel approximately 50% or more within the region.
• Collaborate with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on facility needs and vendor relations.
• Maintain up-to-date contractor licenses and permits; conduct site inspections for compliance and quality.
