Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is hiring a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee 4–6 retail offices and ensure a consistent, high-quality client experience across all locations.

You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, balance strategic oversight with in-office presence, and own office readiness, staffing, facilities, compliance, and day-to-day operations to drive client outcomes and business results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in a multi-unit retail, service, or operations environment.
• Strong client-centric mindset with experience delivering consultative experiences.
• Proven leadership to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Ability to drive business and financial results while managing day-to-day operations across locations.
• Experience leading through change and adopting new processes.
• Ability to prioritize across multiple locations.
• Experience in facilities, staffing, or compliance.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
• Willingness to travel frequently in-day between offices.
• Schedule flexibility including evenings, weekends, and Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4–6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact and drive improvements.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes and tools.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals with clear expectations.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors and feedback.
• Identify patterns across offices and develop bench strength.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and take actions to improve results.
• Ensure daily operations including staffing, scheduling, and compliance.
• Own office readiness, facilities, and seasonal preparation.
