Job summary

EMR Group is seeking an Environmental Manager to lead and strengthen the SHE program across the Northern Region, ensuring regulatory compliance and driving continuous improvement. You will partner with regional leadership, site managers and the SHE team to promote environmental responsibility.

The role requires overseeing environmental programs, audits, reporting, and cross-location collaboration to enhance compliance and performance.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze information, manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel regularly between regional locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee regional environmental programs, policies and initiatives as part of EMR’s SHE program.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations, permits, and reporting requirements.
• Monitor environmental performance and maintain required reports and documentation.
• Conduct site visits and environmental audits to support environmental compliance and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide guidance and training to employees on environmental policies and practices.
• Partner with regional leadership to address environmental concerns and improve compliance across locations.
