Job summary

Entergy Louisiana, LLC seeks a Manager, Region Engineering for the North Region to oversee field engineering services, manage resources, and drive reliability across the West Region. The role emphasizes leadership, budget control, and coordination with regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities include directing design and field activities, mentoring teams, managing storm response, and ensuring customer-focused performance in a dynamic utility environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 5-8 years of experience with proven leadership or significant project management experience.
• Professional Engineering license strongly preferred (state requirements may vary).

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative, management and technical oversight of distribution design and field engineering (Power Quality, Voltage issue resolution, feeder level distribution planning, contingency switching, reliability programs, etc.).
• Manages group resources to achieve maintenance, reliability and financial goals, and ensures compliance with company guidelines.
• Provides operational support at jurisdictional and network levels to improve customer satisfaction and reliability; offers technical guidance to local jurisdictions on regulatory items.
• Provides training and coaching to work group to ensure adherence to Entergy policies and procedures.
• Manages large projects including process development, storm restoration and other jurisdictional/system assignments.
• Leads during emergency response and storm restoration, ensuring 24/7 engineering support.
• Overseeing day-to-day needs of West Region Engineering for reliability and resiliency, driving customer-centric initiatives and team development.
