Women In Need (Win) seeks a Regional Director of Security Operations to oversee security, fire safety compliance, and risk management across multiple residential programs. This leadership role directs Security Directors and Managers, ensuring safe, trauma-informed environments for families, staff, and visitors.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of security management in social services, strong regulatory know-how, and a collaborative, proactive leadership style.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement or related field.
• Minimum seven years of security management experience in social services or residential settings.
• Valid New York State Security Guard License required.
• Valid NYS DCJS Security Guard Instructor Certification required.
• Valid Fire Life and Safety Director (F-89) License and First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor Certification.
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention and handling of violent crimes.
• Ability to interact effectively with clients and government/private stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and oversee security operations across multiple Win facilities, ensuring adequate security coverage and compliance 24/7.
• Supervise, coach, and develop Security Directors and Security Managers while promoting accountability.
• Facilitate regulatory agency trainings and maintain compliance with local and state mandates.
• Facilitate New Hire On-Boarding and Orientation trainings.
• Conduct site inspections, monitor compliance, and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee fire safety compliance, FDNY documentation, and fire safety committee oversight.
• Manage security technologies including CCTV and access control systems.
• Partner with Human Capital on recruitment, investigations, and staff development.
• Respond to significant security incidents and coordinate with law enforcement and fire departments.
• Analyze security/compliance data and support budgets and contract reviews.

Educación

Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement

7+ years security management

New York Security Guard License

DCJS Security Guard Instructor Certification

F-89 Fire Life & Safety Director License

First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor Certification

THE ROLE

Win is seeking an experienced and collaborative Regional Director, Security Operations to oversee security operations, fire safety compliance, and risk management across multiple residential programs. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance while managing Security Directors and Security Managers throughout the organization.

The ideal candidate is a proven security leader with strong operational, compliance, and team management experience who is committed to creating safe, secure, and trauma-informed environments for families, staff, and visitors.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Lead and oversee security operations across multiple Win facilities, ensuring adequate security coverage and compliance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• Supervise, coach, and develop Security Directors and Security Managers while promoting a culture of accountability and performance excellence.
• Facilitate regulatory agency trainings, and maintain compliance with all local and state mandates.
• Facilitate New Hire On-Boarding and Orientation trainings.
• Conduct scheduled and unannounced site inspections, monitor compliance, and implement corrective actions to reduce audit and regulatory violations.
• Oversee fire safety compliance, maintain required FDNY documentation, chair the Fire Safety Committee, and ensure all fire safety plans remain current.
• Manage security technologies including CCTV, access control, visitor management, alarm response, and other physical security systems.
• Partner with Human Capital on recruitment, investigations, employee relations matters, performance management, and staff development initiatives.
• Respond to significant security incidents, emergencies, and crises while maintaining strong partnerships with law enforcement, fire departments, and community stakeholders.
• Analyze security and compliance data, oversee security training programs, support budget and contract reviews, and implement continuous improvement strategies.

WHO YOU WILL BE

• Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement or related field.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of security management experience in a social service, residential, shelter, healthcare, or similar environment.
• Valid New York State Security Guard License required.
• Valid NYS DCJS Security Guard General Topics Instructor Certification required.
• Valid Fire Life and Safety Director (F-89) License required.
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor Certification required.
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
