Job summary

Southland Industries is seeking a Director of Logistics to lead end-to-end material movements across the Mid-Atlantic, including Brandywine and Laurel. You will develop a comprehensive logistics strategy supporting fabrication shops, warehouses, and project teams, while driving safety, efficiency, and cost control.

This role oversees warehousing, transportation, and field delivery operations with a focus on performance and accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply-chain management, construction management, operations, business, engineering, or a related field.
• Ten+ years in Logistics with at least five years in a people manager role.
• Regular travel between warehouses, shops, jobsites, and facilities in Northern California.
• Experience overseeing a regional or multi-location logistics network is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end movement, handling, storage, and delivery of materials across multiple Mid-Atlantic facilities.
• Develop and execute a company-wide logistics strategy supporting fabrication, warehouses, and field teams.
• Oversee warehousing, shipping/receiving, fleet management, and tool center operations.
• Ensure materials arrive in correct location, condition, and sequence to support projects.
• Establish KPIs for inventory accuracy, delivery performance, and fleet utilization.
• Direct multi-location staffing, shift coverage, and cross-functional collaboration.
