Job summary

Dungarvin seeks an Area Director for DD/IDD Services to oversee all residential programs in the assigned region. You will provide leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight to ensure high-quality, person-centered services while pursuing growth opportunities.

This senior role focuses on budget management, staffing, licensing, and compliance, working with state teams to drive excellence. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Human Services, 5+ years in residential IDD/DD, 2+ years

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field required.
• 5+ years of experience in residential IDD/DD services or similar.
• 2+ years of leadership overseeing multiple programs.
• Understanding of person-centered supports, Medicaid/HCBS, and compliance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and adaptability to new tech.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel regionally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Area Managers and Program Directors across residential programs.
• Oversee budget, staffing, licensing, compliance, and policy development.
• Drive operational excellence, growth opportunities, and partnerships.
• Monitor performance, financial health, and program outcomes.
