Caris HealthCare is seeking a Regional Director of Clinical Care (RN) to lead the patient services program within the assigned region, ensuring compliance with hospice policies and procedures and delivering high-quality, cost-effective care.

The role requires an active RN license and 3+ years in hospice or related fields, with strong leadership and teaching abilities. Expect collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and IT, plus 24/7 coverage considerations and regional travel as needed.

Qualifications

Must hold a current RN license in the state of operation.
3 years of hospice, palliative care, oncology, or home health experience.
Thorough knowledge of hospice program objectives and payer mix (Medicare/Medicaid) preferred.
Strong teaching, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Overnight travel required up to 80% of work days.

Responsibilities

Oversees delivery of patient care ensuring compliance with hospice policies and regulations.
Monitors patient services to maintain high standards and cost-effective care.
Assures appropriate case management decisions for pharmacy, DME, supplies, imaging, labs, and other clinical needs.
Staff assignment and scheduling to provide 24-hour coverage and adequate resources.
Provides leadership for performance improvement measures and audits.
