Job summary

Dimensional Fund Advisors in Charlotte is seeking a Regional Director, Broker-Dealer Advisory Group to lead sales and relationship management across a wirehouse-heavy territory. You will drive Net New Assets growth and collaborate with client service teams to meet advisor needs.

You will present Dimensional’s investment philosophy at regional conferences and branch sessions, translate complex factor-based investing into clear narratives, and mentor junior team members while traveling extensively.

Qualifications

• Extensive track record in Financial Services, especially External Wholesaling or Sales.
• Established Wirehouse relationships (e.g., Merrill, UBS, Wells) preferred.
• Strong business development and client service orientation.
• Experience communicating complex investment concepts to sophisticated advisors.

Responsibilities

• Sales leadership and management of a territory composed primarily of wire-house affiliated financial advisors.
• Proactively generate for new advisor relationships while deepening existing partnerships to maximize Net New Assets (NNA) and market share.
• Partner with FAs to streamline their practices, helping them navigate platform transitions and shift toward fee-based, advisory models.
• Establish yourself as a thought partner to high-production teams and internal gatekeepers.
• Deliver high-impact presentations on Dimensional’s investment philosophy and performance at complex-level meetings, regional Wirehouse conferences, and branch office sessions.
• Act as a spokesperson and ambassador of the Dimensional brand and investment theory throughout the industry and marketplace.
• Increase revenues, AUM and Advisor clients within the territory through the profitable growth of Dimensional’s product suite.
