Job summary

Hy-Vee, Inc. seeks a Corporate Regional Registered Dietitian to oversee nutritional needs for 1-3 store locations, offering personalized counseling and conducting health screenings. The role includes group classes, shopping assistance, and media appearances.

Reporting to the Assistant Vice President, Dietitian Services, you will support program growth, stay current on nutrition topics, and maintain HIPAA compliance while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a four-year college degree and a dietetic internship approved by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Must be a Registered Dietitian and Licensed Dietitian for the states supported.
• Minimum of six months or more of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutrition counseling for health conditions and stay current on nutrition topics for client education.
• Conduct health screenings including biometric, HbA1c, Omega-3 Index and Vitamin D assessments.
• Lead group presentations and classes, offering nutritional education to a wider audience, in person and virtually.
• Assist customers with personalized shopping and product knowledge to support dietary plans.
• Increase referrals and drive business growth by analyzing data and trends for program enhancement.
• Represent Hy-Vee in media outlets and complete Hy-Vee media training.
• Adhere to company policies and complete required continuing education hours for state and national levels.
