Job summary

The Wisdom Teeth Guys in Texas is seeking a Multi-State Regional Dental/Operations Manager to oversee our surgery teams across Austin, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Phoenix and Utah.

This leadership role focuses on dental operations, recruitment, supply and equipment procurement, and successful market openings, with frequent multi-state travel. When not traveling, you will work remotely from home and partner with the COO, CCO and CEO to drive growth.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in dental management.
• Some experience as an oral surgery assistant in the past preferred but not required.
• Substantial experience with insurance billing, claims, collection and verifications.

Responsibilities

• Work jointly with the COO to:
• Support and manage existing and future surgery managers across all markets.
• Supporting the rollout process of tasks required to open new markets including supply & equipment procurement, recruiting, training, software setup, logistical issues, etc.
• Frequent travel to new markets both before, during and after launch. This would be multi-state travel and sometimes involve full weeks on the road.
• Working with surgery managers on recruiting and training their clinical staff.
• Overseeing and being directly involved in recruitment of key staff members.
• Work strategically with the senior DSO management team of COO, CCO and CEO.
• Covering surgery managers as needed for emergencies if they don’t have the staff to cover. In the event of a surgery manager vacancy you may have to run a market directly until a replacement is hired.
