AWS Data Center Planning and Delivery (DCPD) seeks a Regional Safety Engineer to advance health and safety across global data center programs in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and APAC. You will partner with Real Estate, Due Diligence, Permitting, Energy, Pre-Construction, Construction, Commissioning, Security and Procurement teams to achieve H&S goals and improve safety culture.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience.
• 6+ years of health and safety experience in construction or industrial environments.
• Knowledge of safety management systems and contractor safety management.

Responsibilities

• Deploy H&S programs covering leadership, planning, controls, performance management.
• Coordinate with DCPD teams to achieve H&S goals across planning and execution.
• Ensure contractor and AWS deployment vendor compliance; conduct H&S kickoff sessions.
• Audit projects using metrics and report trends/risks at regional levels.
