Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Regional Class A Tanker Driver to join our safety-conscious team in Linden, NJ. This route covers NY, NJ, MD, VT, VA, RI, PA, MA, WV and parts of Canada, averaging about 65 hours per week.

You will earn $90k–$120k annually with a $7,500 sign-on bonus, weekly home time, and compensation including hourly wages for on-duty time. Comprehensive benefits follow after 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL license required.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• Minimum 3 months of tanker experience.
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements required.
• Ability to climb and work from heights.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to use mobile apps and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize health and safety in all tasks and practices.
• Operate tractor-trailer tanker units on regional routes.
• Adhere to weight limits and proper unit utilization.
• Load and unload hazardous/non-hazardous waste safely.
• Secure loads to industry standards.

Clean Harbors is looking for a Regional Class A Tanker Driver to join their safety conscious team in Linden, NJ This route runs from Linden, NJ to NY, NJ, MD, VT, VA, RI, PA, MA, WV, and also Canadian provinces ON and QC, and averages 65 hours per week.

About the role:

Drivers average $90-$120K per year

$7,500 sign-on-bonus available

Weekly Home time

Compensation includes hourly wages (all on-duty non-driving time)

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times

Operates tractor trailer tanker units

Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units

Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste;

Properly secures the loads

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class A CDL
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
