Digital Realty seeks a Senior Manager, Corporate Affairs for the Central Region, based in Austin or Dallas. You will lead corporate affairs and media relations across the Central U.S., partnering with Government Affairs and senior leaders to shape public narrative, manage reputational risk, and drive strategic communications.

The role requires 8–10 years in corporate communications and a background in tech/infrastructure or data centers, with strong writing and relationship-building skills.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in corporate communications, public relations, or corporate affairs.
• Background in technology, infrastructure, real estate, or data center industries preferred.
• Strong writing, storytelling, and content creation skills.
• Experience building relationships with media, government affairs teams, and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Occasional travel within Central U.S. and other locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead corporate affairs and media relations across the Central U.S. region.
• Partner with Government Affairs to align communications with policy priorities.
• Develop media strategies, pitch stories, and manage press inquiries.
• Create engaging content for press releases, executive messaging, social media, web, and internal comms.
• Support events, community engagement programs, and executive visits.
• Monitor media coverage and identify reputational risks and opportunities.
• Develop thought leadership opportunities for regional leaders.
• Track and report on media performance and communications impact.
