Keen Search & Staffing, LLC represents a nationally recognized commercial construction company seeking a Regional Controller to lead accounting and financial operations for multiple business units. This role partners closely with Regional Operations, Project Management, and Executive Leadership to drive financial performance, operational efficiency, and profitable growth.

The Regional Controller will oversee monthly close, WIP reporting, job costing, ASC 606, and project profitability; mentor

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership in construction.
• Strong knowledge of job costing, WIP reporting, ASC 606, and GAAP.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and partnering skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional accounting operations, monthly close, and financial reporting.
• Oversee WIP, job costing, project profitability, and forecasting.
• Partner with Operations and Project Management to drive margins and cash flow.
• Review billings, change orders, retainage, and subcontractor costs.
• Prepare executive reporting, KPI dashboards, and variance analyses.
• Ensure GAAP compliance, internal controls, and audit readiness.
• Develop and mentor regional accounting teams; drive ERP initiatives.
