Job summary

Kyocera Document Solutions New York Metro, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Controller to oversee finance and accounting, enforce corporate policies, and report to the Senior Director, Finance Operations.

The role drives monthly close, financial reporting, and internal controls while coordinating with HQ for systems implementation. The ideal candidate holds a degree in accounting (CPA a plus) with 7–10 years of experience, IFRS/US GAAP knowledge, and demonstrated leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong IFRS/US GAAP knowledge and financial controls.
• Forecasting, reporting and variance analysis experience.
• Ability to interpret economic conditions and impact on the organization.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating with management.
• Proficient in data collection, analysis and technical diligence.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all financial reports align with policies and IFRS/GAAP.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow.
• Provide management with timely financial status updates.
• Close periods, set cutoffs and approve adjustments.
• Handle A/R, A/P and overall accounting functions for the subsidiary.
• Coordinate annual audit and tax compliance.
