Job summary

Kimley-Horn seeks a Regional Contract Lead to join our Dallas, TX or Fort Worth, TX office. This on-site role coordinates the contract review flow, provides training, and resolves complex issues for public and private sector clients.

The position requires negotiating contracts, guiding project managers, and coordinating with General Counsel to ensure high-quality reviews and timely decisions.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years experience in a related contract role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associates preferred.
  • Knowledge of reviewing and resolving contracts.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines with a sense of urgency.
  • Detail-oriented team player with confidentiality awareness.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Excellent follow-through and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Occasional travel to coordinate with corporate counsel and training.
  • Ability to partner with diverse leadership and teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Job description

Overview

Kimley-Horn is looking for a Regional Contract Lead to join our Dallas, Texas (TX) or Fort Worth, Texas (TX) office! This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the activities of the contract reviewers, managing the flow of contracts, providing training, and helping resolve complex issues
  • Review, negotiate, and help resolve contracts for both public and private sector clients
  • Organize and manage contract activities that result in clear advice to project managers on how to proceed, and dedicated partnership to resolve issues
  • Coordinate with General Counsel as appropriate on individual issues and the overall quality of contract reviews
Qualifications
  • 8+years experience in a related role
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associates preferred)
  • Knowledge related to reviewing and resolving contracts
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet deadlines
  • Detail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and provide excellent internal and external client service
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent follow through skills as well as the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel occasionally to coordinate with corporate counsel and to attend in-house training programs
  • Ability and desire to partner with diverse and dynamic leadership and teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
