Job summary

Sharp Spoon Network is seeking a Director of Construction for the Boston region. You will oversee all regional construction operations, lead Project Managers and site teams, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within quality standards.

You will manage budgets, drive profitability, coordinate staffing with coordinators, and uphold company policies. Travel nationwide/international may be required; a CSL license and 8–10 years of leadership experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of management experience in construction operations or project management.
• CSL is required.
• Experience leading multi-site project teams in commercial construction.
• Strong driving record and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all region construction operations.
• Coordinate with Project Coordinators to manage staffing across projects.
• Ensure adherence to protocols, procedures and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress and provide weekly updates to the EVP.
• Manage project schedules to meet deadlines and deliverables.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure plans, specs and codes compliance.
• Lead and develop Project Managers, APMs, Superintendents and Supervisors.
• Assist with budget development and cost control.
• Oversee vendor relations and contract approvals.
