Job summary

The Israeli American Council (IAC) in San Diego seeks a Community Engagement Manager to expand regional impact by coordinating programs and events for teens and families, while representing the organization to partners and community leaders. This full-time role requires flexible hours and strong ties to Israeli and American communities.

You will recruit participants, manage communications, and help grow awareness through outreach and social platforms, reporting to the San Diego Regional Director

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Strong social skills and experience in community building.
• Flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Experience in the Israeli and/or Jewish sector is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and social networking tools.
• Fluent English with Hebrew language proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, delivery, and QA of programs, sessions, and events for teens and young families.
• Coordinate guest experts, mentors, and partners to ensure program readiness.
• Build and engage regional community; serve as primary contact for leaders.
• Promote programs through outreach and social platforms.
• Manage regional calendar, data tracking, and reporting related to programs.
