Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electrical Service Technician for its Service & National Accounts Group in the Virginia region.

The role requires regional travel to customer sites, performing electrical installations, servicing equipment, and ensuring compliance with plans and codes. Qualified candidates will have five years in commercial electrical service, a valid driver’s license, ability to pass background and drug screens, and strong knowledge of electrical tools and testing equipment.

Qualifications

Minimum five years of experience in the commercial electrical service industry.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Valid driver's license with good driving record.
Must pass background check and drug test.
Excellent knowledge of electrical tools and testing equipment.
Proficient with smart devices (smartphones, tablets) and web applications.

Responsibilities

Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, conduits, panels, and related devices per blueprints and plans.
Install, test, troubleshoot, and maintain EMS systems, smart breakers, electronic controls, and components.
Inspect sites, study work orders, and determine materials requirements and procedures.
Test electrical systems for continuity and diagnose issues to resolve problems.
Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring and fixtures.
