Job summary

HCA Healthcare seeks a Regional Coding Operations Manager to oversee coding operations for the North Florida Division, including practice acquisitions, provider documentation improvement, and division leadership relationships. The role emphasizes strategic planning, education, and service excellence in coding operations.

The position requires extensive experience in professional fee coding and revenue cycle operations, with familiarity in Cerner and eClinicalWorks, and a willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred and AHIMA/AAPC credentials or CPC/CPC-H certification or CRC.
• Minimum 5 years healthcare management/leadership experience.
• Minimum 7 years professional fee coding and revenue cycle operations experience.
• Experience with Cerner and eClinicalWorks (eCW) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides coding and documentation improvement education to Providers.
• Supports oversight of Coding Operations planning, budgets, and internal controls.
• Leads communication with practice staff, providers, and Division Leadership.
• Acts as liaison between CCU and practice management to ensure efficient coding processes.
• Drives innovation and best practices in Coding Operations.
• Manages coding education for practice management and staff.
• Develops strategic direction for Coding Operations.
• Willing to travel across division markets and be present in physician practices daily.
