Kennebec Valley Council of Governments (KVCOG) is seeking a part-time Regional Code Enforcement Program Assistant to support permitting, outreach, and office administration. The role focuses on coordination across the program and is based in Fairfield with Tuesday in-office hours and potential remote hours.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills, plus familiarity with planning, land use, and basic code concepts.

Qualificações

• Experience or knowledge of construction trades is helpful.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with iWorQ is beneficial but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate permitting and review processes within the Regional Code Enforcement Office.
• Serve as first point of contact for applicants and field general inquiries.
• Schedule meetings and maintain comprehensive documentation of communications.
• Assist with record-keeping, data gathering, and outreach activities.
• Provide support under supervision of the Economic and Community Development Director.
