Job summary

Staffmark is hiring a Class A Flatbed Driver in Mount Airy, NC. The role offers a $30.00 per hour pay rate, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 5 AM to 3 PM. Regional work with weekends at home and sleeper equipped trucks. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), EAP, weekly pay, and perks through Staffmark PerkSpot.

The driver will operate sleeper tractors, haul wire mesh, backhauls, and manage required strapping and tarping while maintaining safety and on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license required.
• DOT Medical Card required.
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and clear MVR.
• Minimum 1 year CDL experience (within past 3 years).
• Flatbed experience preferred.
• No DUI or serious violations in past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sleeper tractor.
• Haul wire mesh to customer warehouses and job sites.
• Pick up backhauls.
• Require strapping and tarping.
• Safely operate vehicles and adhere to schedules and safety regulations.
