Job summary

Penske Logistics in New Jersey is seeking professional CDL Class A truck drivers for full-time, regionally focused roles. You will make multi-stop deliveries to automotive dealerships, unload cargo with pallet jacks, and scan items upon unloading.

Overnight trips with weekend home time are typical while supporting various Penske locations. Competitive pay with an average of $100,000 annually, sign-on bonus of $10,000, and performance incentives up to $10,400 annually.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required.
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years.
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• English language proficiency required by federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)).
• Background investigation and drug screening required.
• Role regulated as safety sensitive under DOT rules.

Responsibilities

• Travel regionally to work at various locations as needed.
• Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts to automotive dealerships.
• Unload trailers using pallet jacks and hand trucks; use scanner for unloading and delivery.
• Operate Penske-maintained trucks with safety in mind.
