Job summary

Pratt Industries, Inc. is seeking a Class A CDL truck driver for regional work out of the Fort Worth area. You will operate a 53’ dry van, perform pre-trip inspections, and keep compliant with FMCSA regulations while coordinating with Dispatch to ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications include a valid Class A CDL, 3 years verifiable CMV experience, fluent English, and a clean safety record. The role requires DOT medical clearance and ongoing adherence to safety and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL without airbrake restrictions.
• Three (3) years verifiable CMV experience – 12 months or 150,000 miles.
• Read, write, speak, and clearly understand the English language.
• DOT applications must be complete and accurate and should include (7) year MVR with application.
• Must meet the medical standard of DOT, including physical and drug test per company policy.
• No moving violations in the last three (3) years – with limits as described; no felonies in last ten (10) years.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a TAS with a 53’ dry van and deliver loads as assigned.
• Perform thorough pre-trip inspections as required by FMCSA and company.
• Maintain accurate electronic driver logs and hours of service.
• Prepare and submit shipping documents, bills of ladings, manifests, and reports.
• Communicate with Dispatch/Operations regarding stops, delays, or issues.
• Report accidents or violations promptly and cooperate with authorities as needed.
