Job summary

GEX Transport in Nebraska (Grand Island) is seeking experienced drivers for regional routes. The role offers home weekly with 5 days out and 2 days home, operating in MN, SD, ND, IA, NE, KS, MO, AR, OK, TN and KY.

You will complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and deliver freight on time. Requirements include a valid CDL Class A, clean MVR and background checks, ability to pass a DOT drug screen, and no major violations in the specified timeframes.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen (Urine and Hair Follicle Test).
• Moving Violation: No more 3 in the last 3 years.
• No Careless/Negligent Driving Violations in past 3 years.
• No Reckless Driving Violations in past 5 years.
• Accident: No major preventable accidents in a CMV in the past 5 years.
• Felonies and Misdemeanors: Class A Felony outside 10 years; Class B/C outside 7 years.
• DUI/DWI: No DUI in a CMV ever; No more than 2 DUI’s in a lifetime; No DUI in past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre trip and post trip inspections and deliver freight on time.
• Maintain accurate logs and trip documentation and Communicate clearly with dispatch and driver managers.
