Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Lavonia, GA. The role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for a long-term driving career. Start times vary, with regional routes and sleepers/trailers for 48' & 53' equipment.

Training is provided to get you up to speed on equipment and safety procedures. Pay starts at $1,600–$1,800 per week with additional pay for stops, per diem, and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months past 3 years, or 2 years past 5 years, or 5 years past 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards; maintaining accurate records and logs.
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting in loading/unloading if required by customer.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
