AGF Glass, Inc. is seeking a dependable Regional Class A CDL Driver to safely deliver architectural glass and related materials on regional routes. You will operate a Class A tractor-trailer, secure loads, and maintain accurate delivery records.

Responsibilities include inspections, compliance with DOT regulations, and professional customer service. Per diem for overnight routes and overtime opportunities are available; starting pay is $24/hour.

Qualifications

We are looking for a dependable Regional Class A CDL Driver to safely deliver our architectural glass products while providing professional service to our customers.

Job Overview

As a Regional Class A CDL Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of architectural glass and related materials throughout assigned regional routes. This position requires careful load securement, consistent compliance with DOT regulations, clear communication, and a customer-first approach. The role includes operating commercial vehicles, assisting with delivery activities, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle and flatbed trailer on assigned regional routes
• Transport architectural glass and related materials to customer locations safely, efficiently, and on schedule
• Inspect, secure, and protect loads using proper equipment and load securement techniques
• Complete pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns
• Comply with all DOT, FMCSA, traffic, hours-of-service, and company safety requirements
• Maintain accurate electronic logs, delivery records, inspection reports, and other required paperwork
• Communicate with dispatch, customers, and AGF team members regarding routes, delivery timing, and changing conditions
• Provide professional and courteous service at customer locations
• Assist with loading, unloading, and material handling when required, including operation of a forklift or other equipment if trained and authorized
• Keep the assigned truck and trailer clean, organized, and ready for safe operation

Skills & Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Acceptable motor vehicle record and ability to meet company and insurance driving requirements
• Current DOT medical certification and ability to meet all applicable DOT qualification requirements
• Commercial driving experience; flatbed and load securement experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of safe driving practices, vehicle inspections, cargo securement, and hours-of-service requirements
• Ability to safely perform the physical duties of the position, including climbing in and out of the cab and trailer area, bending, reaching, and lifting or moving materials and equipment
• Ability to lift a minimum of 85 pounds independently
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to route, traffic, weather, and delivery changes
• Strong communication skills and a professional, customer service-oriented approach
• Forklift experience and basic mechanical knowledge are preferred
• Must pass all required pre-employment and ongoing DOT drug and alcohol testing
• Must pass a background check

Schedule & Pay

• Monday to Friday
• Regional routes with travel throughout the assigned service area
• Schedule varies based on delivery needs and may include early mornings, extended days, overnight travel, and overtime
• Starting pay $24/hour
• Per diem for all overnight routes
• Major holidays off
