Covanta is looking for a Regional CEMS Coordinator based in Massachusetts to oversee Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS). This critical role ensures the accuracy, reliability, and regulatory compliance of emissions monitoring data across Reworld facilities.
Responsibilities include overseeing QA/QC activities, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have an associate's degree, 5+ years in emissions compliance systems, and strong communication skills. Salary range is $100,400 – $133,500 USD.
Location: Flexible - based at or near a Reworld TTF facility

Travel: Approximately 30%
Reporting to the Director of CEMS, the Regional CEMS Coordinator serves as the technical and compliance authority for Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS) across multiple Reworld TTF facilities. This high‑visibility, mission‑critical role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and regulatory defensibility of emissions monitoring data.
The successful candidate will provide regional oversight of QA/QC execution, audit readiness, maintenance strategies, and change management, while working collaboratively with plant personnel, environmental staff, and corporate stakeholders.
This position plays a critical role in protecting Reworld from regulatory risk by ensuring the accuracy, availability, and defensibility of emissions monitoring data across the region. The Regional CEMS Coordinator is a key technical partner in maintaining compliance integrity and operational credibility.

Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future.
Pay range for the primary location of this position: $100,400.00 – $133,500.00 USD.
