Job summary

Ruan Transportation Management Systems is hiring full-time Regional Flex CDL drivers based in Ankeny, IA. Drivers haul refrigerated, curtain side, and tank trailers on regional routes with a Monday–Saturday schedule and early start times.

Earn $29.50 per hour with overtime after 40 hours, and average about $95,000 per year with benefits including health, vision, dental, life, and more. Ruan provides competitive benefits and a 401(k) plan, along with paid time off and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 22 years or older
• No more than three moving violations in the past three years (some restrictions apply)
• No more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three years
• Must create a profile at fmcsa.dot.gov before being hired
• 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years
• Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals in English, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on records

Responsibilities

• Operate regional routes in a tractor-trailer on a full-time basis.
• Some routes may require driver unload.
• Maintain safety, compliance, and timely delivery on all assignments.
