Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Indianapolis, IN is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver. You will drive solo to all states east of the Mississippi, regional routes, with automatic sleepers and 48'–53' dry vans.

Earn about $2,000 weekly and $100k–$105k yearly, plus a $5,000 retention bonus, paid training, and comprehensive benefits. Schedule Sunday–Friday, dispatch 7:00–8:00 AM, 24/7 roadside maintenance, PTO from day 1, uniforms, boot allowance, 401(k) with company match, and family-friendly leave

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check for last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months in past 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years or 5 years in last 10 years.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards; maintaining accurate records and logs.
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting in loading/unloading of freight if required by customer.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
