Job summary

Clean Harbors in Woburn, MA is seeking a Utility Driver/Driver Lead to support operations with safe and efficient transport of materials and equipment. The role requires a valid CDL Class B with Hazmat, Air Brakes, Tank Vehicle endorsements and comfort driving a 10-speed manual transmission.

Local and regional travel throughout the Northeast, with occasional overnights, is expected. You will perform pre-trip inspections, assist with loading/unloading, maintain logs, and ensure DOT/safety

Qualifications

• Class B CDL required with endorsements.
• Endorsements: Hazmat, Air Brakes, Tank Vehicle.
• Experience driving a 10-speed manual transmission.
• Ability to train and mentor others.
• Travel throughout the Northeast with possible overnights.
• Strong safety record and DOT compliance.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Health and Safety is the priority and follows all safe-work practices.
• Transport materials and equipment to various locations in the Northeast.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Assist with loading and unloading as needed.
• Maintain vehicle logs, mileage, and delivery records.
• Follow hazardous-material handling and transportation requirements.
• Provide courteous service at customer sites and job-sites.
• Travel as needed, including overnight trips in the Northeast.
• Perform other utility and operational duties as assigned.
