Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid Class A CDL.
• Pass Ryder drug, background, motor vehicle checks, and drug/alcohol verification from previous employers (last 3 years).
• Pass DOT physical and Ryder road test.
• Provide CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Minimum driving experience: 9 months in past 3 years, or 2 years in last 5 years, or 5 years in last 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate logs and records.
• Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading freight if required by customer.
• Performs other duties as assigned
