Ryder is seeking Class A CDL Truck Drivers in York, PA to join a team with weekly pay and strong benefits. Drivers operate sleeper trucks, covering multiple routes across the Northeast and mid-Atlantic.

The role includes scheduled start times, seasonal weekends, and opportunities for bonuses as part of a comprehensive compensation package. Ryder provides paid training on equipment, safety programs, and a supportive driver community.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months in last 3 years OR 2 years in last 5 years OR 5 years in last 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Detect and eliminate/minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading if required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
