Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is immediately hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver for routes in the Danville area. The role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits after 30 days, and a sign‑on/loyalty bonus program. Trucks are well-maintained sleepers with no-touch freight on 48'/53' dry van trailers.

Expect team miles pay, per-stop pay, and drop/hook incentives, plus paid training and a structured schedule. Home weekends and ample growth opportunities are provided within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL Class A license.
• Minimum 9 months tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years OR 2+ years in past 5 years OR 5+ years in past 10 years.
• Must pass a DOT physical and Ryder drug test.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions and read/interpret regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws and Ryder policies.
• Maintain accurate logs and records.
• Load/unload freight as required or assist with loading/unloading.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
