Job summary

Ryder in Burlington, NJ is looking for a Class A CDL Truck Driver. This driving role offers weekly pay, a strong benefits package after 30 days, and opportunities to grow within a supported trucking team.

Routes are regional, with 26' box and 53' dry van trailers. Home time is Monday–Friday with no weekends. Training is provided, and Ryder emphasizes safety and career development in logistics.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class A CDL with required endorsements.
• 9 months to 5 years experience in tractor-trailer in last 10 years.
• Must meet minimum age and pass drug test and background checks.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards; maintaining accurate records and logs.
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting in loading/unloading of freight if required by customer.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
