Job summary

NFI Industries in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking qualified CDL Class A drivers for regional runs with home time two days per week. Earn an average pay range of $1,400 to $1,900 per week with training provided on refrigerated equipment.

You must be at least 21, hold a state Class A CDL, have six months of tractor-trailer experience, and pass DOT qualifications. Benefits include health, 401(k), PTO after 90 days, safety bonuses, and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Current Class A CDL from your state of residence
• Minimum six months of relevant tractor-trailer experience
• Acceptable references from past employers
• Meet all applicable DOT qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties safely and responsibly.
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or customer rules, standards and guidelines.
• Physically capable to perform all job duties, which includes moving frequently, standing, walking, and sitting. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg.
• Ability to report all problems with equipment, as well as accidents, traffic violations, and damage before, during and after route.
• Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area.
• Ability to perform routes, pickups & deliveries based on customer requirements.
