Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Columbus, OH is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver for a regional, home weekly route.

You will operate Sleeper tractors delivering Dry Van freight to the Northeast region (no NYC), with a Sunday-Thursday schedule and occasional Fridays, while enjoying weekly pay. The position offers paid training, benefits after 30 days, PTO from day 1, uniforms and boot allowance, and a 401(k) with company match after one year.

Qualifications

• Must hold Class A CDL with endorsements.
• At least 9 months experience in a tractor trailer in the past 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years, or 5 years in the last 10 years.
• Minimum age 21.
• Pass Ryder drug test and background/motor vehicle checks including 3-year history.
• Pass DOT physical and Ryder road test.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws, regulations, and company rules.
• Detect and mitigate safety hazards; maintain logs.
• Load/unload freight as required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
