Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Carol Stream, IL is hiring a Class A CDL Regional Truck Driver with a schedule of Monday–Friday and a start window 5:00 PM–7:00 PM. The role offers weekly pay, plus mileage, stop, per diem, and loyalty bonuses, with 36 months newer trucks and national coverage.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL with endorsements.
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years within the past 5 years, OR 5 years within the past 10 years.
• Must pass Ryder drug test, background and motor vehicle check including drug/alcohol verification from previous employers for last 3 years.
• Must pass a DOT physical and Ryder road test.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards; maintaining accurate records and logs.
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting in loading/unloading if required by customer.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
