Job summary

Ryder in Troy, MI is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver to join a regional, home-weekly program with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits. Average driver earnings are $1,700-$1,900+ per week, and the job can reach about $95,000+ yearly with paid training and a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities include safe operation of a 53' dry van, following DOT and company policies, and maintaining logs and records.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical and road test.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Detecting and eliminating safety hazards; maintaining logs and records.
• Loading/unloading freight as required by customer.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
