Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions is seeking a Commercial Truck Driver to transport goods between regional locations, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and ensure secure loading and unloading. The role requires a valid CDL Class A, 3 years of heavy vehicle experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds with team lift up to 75 pounds.

This on-site position is based in Annapolis Junction, MD. Drivers must follow safety procedures, pass a background and drug screen, and be eligible for a U.S.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license required.
• 3 years within last 7 years of heavy vehicle experience.
• Ability to operate forklifts or equivalent material handling equipment.
• Must pass pre-hire background and drug screen.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain clearance if needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate government or CCS-owned trucks and trailers to transport goods daily.
• Load/unload, secure cargo, and ensure proper stacking and padding.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance checks.
• Maintain accurate documentation and sign-offs for pickups and deliveries.
• Follow CCS safety and security procedures and work with minimal supervision.
