Job summary

GAATCO is seeking a Regional CDL A Driver for flatbed freight across the Eastern United States. Expect home weekly, automatic tractors, and consistent earnings with weekly pay and bonuses. You will handle step-deck trailers, secure cargo, and support occasional overnights as needed.

The role includes a 5–6 day workweek with roughly 2,175 miles weekly, a 34-hour restart, and on-site orientation in Fremont, OH. Competitive benefits cover medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with hazmat endorsement.
• Minimum 1 year of tractor-trailer experience.
• At least 6 months of verified flatbed experience in last 3 years.
• Hazmat endorsement required.
• Winter driving experience required.
• Comfort with step-deck flatbeds and proper cargo securement.
• Must be able to assist with unloading.

Responsibilities

• Operate regional flatbed routes across the Eastern U.S.
• Verify cargo securement and assist with unloading.
• Maintain compliance with safety and DOT regulations.
• Adhere to route schedules and communicate delays or incidents.
