We're hiring Class A CDL Truck Drivers for a regional flatbed driving position based in Hazleton, Pennsylvania. This opportunity offers weekly home time, weekends at home, competitive weekly earnings, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible drivers.

Drivers transport wire mesh and related materials on flatbed trailers throughout the Northeast and surrounding states. This position involves securing freight using straps, but drivers are not required to physically load or unload cargo.

This opportunity is ideal for CDL-A drivers looking for regional flatbed work with consistent freight, weekday schedules, and strong earning potential.

Three driver openings are currently available.

Pay & Compensation

• Average Weekly Earnings: $1,923–$2,115
• Estimated Annual Earnings: $100,000–$110,000
• Mileage Pay: $0.64–$0.66 per mile
• Average Weekly Miles: Approximately 2,500
• Stop Pay: $50 per stop
• Detention Pay: $15 per hour after two hours
• Sign-On Bonus: $5,000, subject to eligibility and retention requirements
• New-Hire Training Pay: $200 per day
• Safety Training Pay: $20 per hour
• Holiday Pay: $200 per eligible holiday
• Additional compensation available for qualifying off-account assignments

Actual earnings depend on mileage, stops, assigned freight, and other qualifying pay activities. Annual earnings are estimates based on reported driver earnings and are not guaranteed.

Job Responsibilities

• Transport wire mesh and related materials using flatbed trailers.
• Operate regional routes throughout Pennsylvania and surrounding states.
• Deliver freight throughout:
  • Pennsylvania
  • New York
  • New Jersey
  • Massachusetts
  • Connecticut
  • Rhode Island
  • Maryland
  • Virginia
  • Ohio
• Secure and unsecure flatbed freight using straps.
• Ensure loads are properly secured before departure.
• Complete approximately five loads and six delivery stops per week.
• Coordinate with customer personnel during live loading and unloading.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate transportation and delivery records.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
• Assist with additional assigned freight, including intermodal or third-party loads, when operationally necessary.

Freight Handling: Drivers are responsible for securing and unsecuring loads. Customer personnel perform the physical loading and unloading.

Equipment & Freight

• Assigned sleeper-cab tractors
• 45-foot and 48-foot flatbed trailers
• Wire mesh and related materials
• Approximately five loads per week
• Approximately six stops per week
• Customer-loaded and customer-unloaded freight
• Driver load securement required
• Trucks remain at the designated facility during time off

Driver Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
• Minimum 3 months of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must reside within approximately 50 miles of Hazleton, PA 18202.
• Must be comfortable operating regional routes across multiple states.
• Must be willing and able to secure and unsecure flatbed loads.
• Must be available for Monday–Friday regional operations.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the reporting facility.
• Must be willing to assist with other assigned freight when necessary.
• Must meet applicable DOT and company safety qualifications.
• SAP drivers are not eligible for this position.
