Job summary

System Transport is seeking experienced CDL-A flatbed drivers for regional routes in the Midwest. You will transport heavy materials such as glass, steel, and machinery, with an emphasis on safety and on-time performance. Home time is off most weekends with a 34-hour reset.

Flatbed regional drivers earn weekly pay between $1,021 and $2,280, with annual pay up to $118,560, depending on experience and route length. Transition and orientation pay are included.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL
• Must be 21+ years old
• A safe driving record on the road is required
• No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
• 6+ months of driving experience required
• Preferred: 1 year truck driving experience, but not necessary
• Background Check required
• Clean Drug Test required
• Clean Clearinghouse result required
• Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tested during orientation)

Responsibilities

• Transporting goods and materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals.
• Operate flatbed equipment.
• Maintain safety and compliance on the road.
