Job summary

System Transport is seeking CDL-A flatbed drivers for regional routes in the Midwest. Drivers load, tarp, and secure a variety of heavy materials and travel regionally with competitive pay and strong benefits. Home weekends with a 34-hour reset, plus accessorial pay for tarp, stop, and detention charges.

Applicants must have a valid CDL-A, be at least 21, and maintain a clean driving record. Training and orientation pay are offered; a shift to full-time positions with 401(k) and comprehensive

Qualifications

Must have a valid Class A CDL
Must be 21 years of age or older
A safe driving record on the road is required
No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
6+ months of driving experience required
Background Check required
Clean Drug Test required
Clean Clearinghouse result required
Must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice

Responsibilities

Transport goods such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals.
Operate regional flatbed routes with appropriate tarping and securing loads.
Maintain safe driving practices and on-time delivery across assigned region.
