Job summary

System Transport is seeking a CDL-A flatbed driver for regional, local, dedicated and OTR routes out of Des Moines, IA. Drivers earn weekly pay from $1,018.63 to $2,208.03 and can expect comprehensive benefits and home time that varies by division.

New hires receive a transition and orientation pay package, plus accessorial pay such as tarp, stop, detention, border-crossing, and per-load premiums. Home time and route options are discussed with recruiters.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 4+ months of driving experience
• Clean driving record
• No more than 6 jobs in last 3 years
• Background check and drug test required
• Ability to tarp loads and lift 90 pounds

Responsibilities

• Operate flatbed CDL-A truck on regional, local, dedicated or OTR routes
• Transport glass, steel, aluminum, building materials and machinery
• Maintain safety and on-time delivery standards
