Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Dayton, OH is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver. The role offers a weekly pay guarantee, a mix of sleeper tractors and straight trucks, and routes along the Eastern US with overnight stays. Training is provided to ensure success on the road.

Expect 40+ hours per week with overtime after 40 hours, per diem pay, and a start time around 6:00 AM. Benefits begin after 30 days, with PTO from day one and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle.
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years within the last 5 years, OR 5 years within the last 10 years.
• Pass Ryder Drug Test, background check, and DOT physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
