Job summary

Averitt Express in Nashville, TN, is seeking Regional CDL-A truck drivers who value strong home time and competitive weekly pay. You’ll run regional routes across the South and Midwest, with 100% no-touch freight, modern tractors, and comprehensive benefits that support you on the road and at home.

Starting as a driver with Averitt, you’ll earn about $1,550 per week on average, begin with a .66 CPM, and have access to paid orientation, job training, a company-sponsored per diem program, and

Qualifications

At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the last 3 years.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Hazmat endorsement required within 90 days of hire.
No DUI/DWI convictions in the past 5 years.

Responsibilities

Open and close trailer doors (up to 46 lbs).
Hook and unhook trailers (up to 90 lbs).
Load, unload, or move freight as needed (up to 54 lbs).
Perform accurate freight counts and fuel tickets.
Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
Enter and exit CMV/trailers from ground level.
Drive for extended periods and maintain regular attendance.
